Chicago Wedding Photos | Nick + Maria

We were heading to Chicago to take wedding photos. It was the end of spring in the Windy City of Chicago and the wedding day for our couple Nick and Maria. Our strong hopes of clear sky were met with a down pour rainfall, but you would never know it looking at their wedding photos. Nothing could stop the joyous celebration of these two!

We first started the wedding photos at The Peninsula Chicago Hotel. A place were luxury and pampering comes natural. The hotel room lend itself as a beautiful soft refined back drop for our lovely bride-to-be.

The Peninsula Chicago Hotel held a very special place in Nick and Maria’s heart. It was the place they met and fell in love. Nick was managing The Lobby Lounge and Maria a pastry chef. So it was important that they begin their wedding photos at this special Chicago location!

The First Look

We then headed to the NorthSide of Chicago in the deep-rooted Edgewater neighborhood for the intimate wedding venue known as Firehouse Chicago. The venue is vintage with a  rustic style. Decorations were kept simple as the site has fabulous charm!
