Big Sur Proposal Photography | Josh + Avery
A privilege of being wedding & engagement photographers in Monterey County is photographing surprise proposals at amazing locations such as Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey! Now this Big Sur proposal photography session was a fun one! We started photographing in Big Sur at Bixby bridge and then headed off for a surprise picnic in Carmel along the beach.
Josh & Avery’s life changed that day along the Monterey Bay coast! We met Josh through a friend of ours and when the time came for him to take the next step in his relationship; we were so excited to photograph their surprise proposal! Josh, with his parents and her family planned a day to see Bixby bridge. Of course, while they were there, they wanted to photograph a few photos together because honestly how often are you able to get everyone together!? She had no clue Josh was going to be proposing in Big Sur.
SHE SAID YES!
Following their Big Sur proposal photography session was another surprise! A picnic along the Carmel beach. What proposal isn’t complete without a bottle of sparkling champagne to celebrate this new chapter in their love story! We had so much fun photographing the popping of the bottle as well as great shots for them to share the big news with all their friends and family! You might be like us in that we couldn’t wait to share the news and of course everyone wants to see pictures of the moment he dropped down on one knee and shared his heart with you!
