Deer Park Villa | Redwood Wedding Venue

When planning to search for wedding venues in California, have you considered wedding venues in redwoods, such as Deer Park Villa? Kayla and Lito started their search for wedding venues in the redwoods and discovered Deer Park Villa was for their wedding day! Funny story we actually met these two while on a site tour at another venue, but that’s a story for another time.

Deer Park Villa Redwood Wedding Venue

Deer Park Villa features a redwood grove where you can hold your ceremony and reception! Twinkling bistro lights are strung among the trees and a water fountain off to the side for this beautiful redwood wedding! When connecting with the venue, we were blown away to find out that Deer Park Villa can seat up to 650 people, 350 outdoors and 300 people indoors! Yes, they have an indoor option as a rainy day back up! A huge plus!

We started the wedding day at the on-site bridal getting ready space right next to the redwood grove. Kayla’s hair and makeup was just finishing up so we started in with the details. Kayla loved the idea of doing a first look with her dad! And let us tell you her dad did not disappoint! As soon as he saw what was once his baby girl in her wedding gown, he could not hold back his tears. Part in joy for her but also acknowledging that she isn longer that little girl he helped raised. Starting this day, she is stepping in to a partnership of marriage with her best friend. Starting her own family. A moment that now as parents we have a whole new appreciation.
